Creosote Remover

There are several methods for removing creosote from a chimney. The removal of stubborn creosote may be helped by applying a creosote removal product to the inside of a chimney by a professional chimney sweep. In some instances, a homeowner is advised to purchase a bottle or two of creosote removal product similiar to that shown above. When used by a homeowner, the product is sprayed onto the wood before it is placed into the wood stove or fireplace. The chimney professional will then discuss with the homeowner how many times to perform this function before having the chimney professionally cleaned.
